David Mendenhall's acting career began at the age of four, appearing in a toy commercial and going on to over 150 commercials for both television and radio. Television roles include "Taxi," "Diff'rent Strokes," and "The New Twilight Zone." David also appeared as "Mike Webber" on ABC's "General Hospital" for which he won a Soapie for "Best Youth Actor In a Daytime Continuing Drama." Movie appearances include opposite Christina Applegate in "Streets"; with Sally Kellerman in "Secret Of The Ice Cave"; "Going Bananas" with Dom DeLuise and Jimmy Walker; as Sylvester Stallone's son in "Over The Top"; and in Roger Corman's "Space Raiders" (1983).

 

David voiced roles in many cartoon specials, series, and features, including "The Cabbage Patch Christmas Special," "Robo Force," "Puff The Magic Dragon," "The Smurf's Christmas Special," "Kangaroo," "Potato Head Kids," "Galtar," "The Berenstain Bears," "G.I. Joe," "Transformers," "The Transformers Movie," and "Rainbow Brite." Additionally, David recorded several story-albums for Buena Vista Records including "The Black Stallion Returns," "Gremlins," and "The Goonies."
